John Waters

Lead Pastor John has a passion for people and for helping them to have a growing relationship with Christ. He grew up in Statesboro, Georgia, and worked in the business world for several years before the Lord called him into ministry. John earned his Master of Arts in Christian Education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and then served as a youth pastor in Cleveland, Tennessee for 9 years. He then served as Associate Pastor in North Augusta, South Carolina, before returning to “God’s Country” in east Tennessee to serve as Lead Pastor at ChristWay in July of 2006. John is madly in love with his wife, Angie, who supports him in ministry, and he’s proud of his two sons, Mitchell and Matthew. John enjoys working out, mountain biking, skydiving, riding roller coasters, doing projects around the house and even watching the grass grow! |
Justin Park

Minister to Students Justin is originally from Chattanooga and was blown away at the opportunity to return to his homeland to minister to students. After graduating from Criswell College in Dallas, TX, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, he was called as the Minister of Students in 2002. Justin is also accompanied in the ministry by his wonderful wife, Amy, and his three children, Mikayla, Camden, and Lane. |
Matt Coleman

Worship Leader Seeking to draw people into a lifestyle of worship, Matt joined the staff in May of 2007 also returning to “God’s Country” from the bluegrass state of Kentucky. He graduated from Campbellsville University in May of 2006, where he studied pastoral ministries and church music. Matt has been leading worship since he picked up the guitar at age 15. He is joined by his beautiful wife, Jackie, and they will welcome a baby in November. |
